Description

In 1998, Stone Concrete and CB Concrete combined forces to create a new company, United Materials, LLC. An important component of this merger was the acquisition of Frey Concrete. The unification of these three companies allowed the owners Dick Holmes and Wade Cook to share the vast experience of their manpower & equipment, enabling them to produce and ship ready mixed concrete over a wider range of Western New York.

In 2006 the company took another step forward in becoming the regions premier building materials supplier by acquiring Scranton’s Thruway Builders Supply. With the addition of Morningstar Concrete Products in 2011, and the opening of their Springville builders supply location in 2017, United Materials, LLC has become a full-service construction materials provider with the largest selection of building materials and accessories in Western NY.

In 2019 United Materials LLC became part of  Votorantim Cimentos of North America.  The Company continues to grow  and expand, and has the full support of an international and vertically integrated Corporation.
